PRO TIP: Now it’s the best time to get Solly Wraps cheaper. I’ve never felt hot or sweaty on our walks, even though we have 70+ degree weather for most part of the year.

It’s the lightest and most breathable baby wrap I have ever tried. Besides, it was so comfy to wear, I’ve never felt pain in shoulders or back. It was just enough stretchy to get the snug fit for the baby and it didn’t sag or squeezed him. This was the best and most often used baby item that I bought in the first year! We used it for around 10 months, before switching to bigger, soft-structured carrier. Newborn baby feels so securely in it and the wrap snuggles are just the best! Personally I prefer Solly Baby wraps and my favorite prints are: Sun Rise & Sea Glass.įor me Solly Wrap worked better. Both are ultra breathable and look gorgeous. They are lightweight and much, much less bulky than structured carriers, yet they are very supportive. • Wondering if I’m not giving it more of a chance, but I do know I didn’t have this much of a learning curve with my OG. It’s a very gorgeous carrier and my neighbor mom friends complimented it even as I was just testing it around the neighborhood. The only pro I’m seeing right now is its looks. With the OG it’s a simple click behind my back 🤷‍♀️ Lastly, when I’m trying to get the arm straps over my back and around baby, I have a difficult time putting her in and I don’t like that the straps drag on the floor when I don’t have them buckled in (I’m 5 ft 1 in for reference). The cinching is so annoying! I swear I spent 10 min trying to snap all 4 of the buttons together versus just using the clip cinching on the OG. The hip strap is hot around my body even after just wearing for 15-20 min and is a little hard to tighten once baby is in.

I want something compact and easy to put in the diaper bag and this doesn’t quite work as well. It’s a lot bulkier and doesn’t pack up as easily as the OG, due to the thick padding on the back and hip straps. I may even return it because idk if $200 is worth all of my issues with it 😬 I was lucky enough to get the Owl Grey color before everything sold out in 10 min, and I was super excited to receive it in the mail that I kept checking the shipment tracking! Now that I’ve tried it on with my 5 month old, here are my first impressions and in comparing it to the Happy Baby OG since that’s the only other SSC I have. This may be an unpopular opinion, but I’m not sure I like it at all and probably just got caught up in the hype waiting for it to be released.
